Operation Blankets of Love (OBOL) is an award-winning non-profit 501(c)3 public charity. We collect, transport and distribute recycled and new pet-related items to comfort stray, sick, neglected and abused homeless animals in shelters, rescue groups, sanctuaries and foster groups. In addition, as an Emergency Response Team, we partner with those organizations to provide relief and comfort to animals that are displaced or endangered by catastrophe. Marty McIntosh was born the son of a preacher man in Seymour Indiana, raised in a Christian home where both Mother and Father sang and played music, got his first guitar at the age of six and started writing his own songs. His love of Merle Haggard and later Keith Whitley introduced him to a new style of music and when he found Kenny Rodgers, John Mellancamp, David Frizzell, Elvis and the great Johnny Cash, young Marty knew what he wanted to do with his life, play, write and sing Country Music. In the summer of 2002 he made the big move to Nashville TN to follow his music dreams, where he worked hard to fulfill his writing and singing skills. His determination never to give up and his trust in God has gotten him where he is today. Marty has played with and opened shows for Ronnie McDowell, T.G.Sheppard, Razzy Bailey, Little Texas, Collin Raye and a host of other great artist and now its Marty’s turn, with the help of David Frizzell Marty is recording his first major session for Nashville America Records, the first single a great song called “The American Night” (written by Dennis Knutson and Roger Allan Wade) is being released to radio with a fun filled music video filmed on the beach in Gulf Shores Alabama complete with beautiful women and Harley Davidson motorcycles, a hard to beat combination …

If there has ever been a way to describe Sunny Ledfurd, it has got to be his ability to defy categorization. Born in Chattanooga TN and growing up in Gaston County NC, he taught himself guitar at age 15. He knew then that playing the guitar was how he would make a living. Inspired by Guns n Roses, Snoop Dog & David Allan Coe among many, Sunny's songs continually mix genres and push the envelope. "I've always liked artists that you can tell they have something to say. They're not just singing some words 'cause it sounds cool." Never one to shy away from a good time... drinking and women are involved in much of the music. With songs like 'I Don't Remember Last Night', 'Pontoon Boat', 'Adderral', and 'Myrtle Beach', Sunny takes you through life in the south as he sees it and lives it. Have a listen........

Bucky Covington is a native of Rockingham, N.C., who grew up listening to country music and taught himself to play guitar after graduating from high school. He worked in his family's auto body shop during the week and started playing in clubs in the Carolinas on the weekends. He and his twin brother, Rocky, auditioned for American Idol, and Bucky was chosen as a finalist in the 2006 season. He placed eighth in the competition, and the exposure helped him connect with Sawyer Brown's management company. The band's lead singer, Mark Miller, produced Covington's studio sessions. Lyric Street Records will release his debut album in 2007.

Lou Watson is a person and a singer with a friendly down-to-earth manner. He combines his knowledge of working class American life with his ability to communicate lyrics with grace and effortless confidence. He’s worked alongside regular folks from coast to coast and performed country music for thousands of people cut from the same cloth. He transfers a confidence into people that makes them feel good about themselves. Lou knows how country music relates to everyday struggles of hard working people. He understands how a good song can touch people’s lives and speak to their hearts. As an entertainer who toiled out of the limelight in Texas Barrooms and Country Fairs, he knows how listeners react to a from the heart performance. Crowds are amazed with his ability to communicate lyrics in Spanish as well as English. A real life Cowboy, Lou grew up on a ranch in South Texas in a large family of eight brothers and one sister. When talking about his family, he notes “My parents raised us with the philosophy that we can be anything we want to be in life if we want it badly enough! When you have a goal and a dream, you never stop until you get there.” In 1977, he entered the Wrangler Star Search Contest in Del Rio, Texas and won first place. He went on to win the State Finals which landed him a recording deal with Casino Records in Memphis, Tennessee. Before long he was leading his own band and opening shows. He earned the opportunity to perform at the Louisiana Hayride and also appeared with Mel Tillis, Conway Twitty, Gene Watson, Johnny Russell, and Fanfest ’94, Los Angeles, California. Lou’s professional training includes acting, taught by Hollywood Actress Arlene Golonka from the Andy Griffith Show and Matlock. When reflecting back on his past experience, Lou explains “Country Music has always been an influence on me. It’s what I always thought life was about, the ups and downs, the good and the bad, the ability to pick yourself up and brush yourself off.”

Stephen Cochran was born in Pikeville, Ky and raised in Nashville, Tn. The Recon Marine was left paralyzed from the waist down after combat injuries in Afghanistan. Cochran was confined to a wheelchair for nine months. An experimental surgery by the Nashville VA returned him to an active lifestyle. He started his music career as a solo singer-songwriter, but in 2010 he formed the Stephen Cochran Project with guitarist Mark Erhardt and bassist Ryan Byrne; more recent additions are Clint Maine on guitar and drummer Scotty Schultz. Cochran drives the Country music brand into American culture wearing jeans, boots and a country-boy grin. The Stephen Cochran Project combines the electricity and beat that strikes a deep, rousing chord.

His Mom sang around the house all the time listening to music by Micky Gilley and Ronnie Milsap and his Dad would sip his I.W.Harper whiskey while listening to the music of Ray Charles,BB King and the Allman Brothers Band.All of that great music combined has steered him down the road which he is on today.Dee's simple creed is God, good folks ~ good music ~ good homemade cookin ~ good horses & living in the U.S.A. are certainly a Blessing! Dee has been fortunate to wear many different hats in the music industry,from producing and writting for various record companys which include Virgin~EMI~Capitol Records as well as writing songs for the Warner Bros. film "Divas". His guitar playing can be heard on the TLC show "American Chopper" as well as on the Discovery channel biker show "Southern Steel/Milwaukee Iron" on which he also sang the shows theme song. Dee has enjoyed every project he's worked on but being on stage and playing country music to country music fans is what he loves the most! Dee Rock is very proud of his new cd,"The Road Ain't Long" and was Blessed to work with some wonderful and very talented people. Tom Paden,who's songs have been recoreded by country artist Reba Mcentire , George Strait and Joe Diffe co-produced this cd. Eddie Kilgallon, keyboardist & band leader for Montgomery Gentry,co-wrote "Callin' all Cowgirls" with Dee Rock & Tom Paden. Tom & Dee put the mixing of this cd in the hands of T.W. Cargile who works with country artist and hit songwriter Jamey Johnson. Dee has worked very hard to find that special place amongst all the talented country artist in country music.
